2024 is a typical hard aluminum alloy in the aluminum-copper-magnesium system. It is a heat treatable alloy with high strength, easy processing, easy turning and corrosion resistance.
After heat treatment (T3, T4, T351), the mechanical properties of 2024 aluminum billets were significantly improved. The T3 state parameters were as follows: tensile strength 470 MPa, 0.2% yield strength 325 MPa, elongation: 10%, fatigue strength 105 MPa, hardness 120HB.

2. 6000 series aluminum billets represent 6061, 6063 mainly contain magnesium and silicon two elements, so the advantages of 4000 series and 5000 series are concentrated. 6061 is a cold-processed aluminum forged product, suitable for applications with high corrosive and oxidative requirements. Good workability, easy coating and good processability.
3. 7000 series aluminum billets Representing 7075 mainly contains zinc. Also belonging to the aviation series, it is an aluminum-magnesium-zinc-copper alloy, which is a heat treatable alloy. It belongs to super-hard aluminum alloy and has good wear resistance.
