Because there is no need to add other chemical elements, the production process of the 1 series aluminum plate is the simplest and the cheapest. Of course, in terms of performance, the 1 series aluminum plate is not as good in performance as the other series.
Among the alloy aluminum plates, the performance of the 3 series aluminum plate is slightly higher than that of the 1 series aluminum plate, and the aluminum plate is the main alloying element of manganese. By adding manganese, the mechanical and chemical properties of the aluminum plate are significantly improved, especially the corrosion resistance, and the improvement is particularly remarkable. Because of the addition of other chemical elements, the 3 series aluminum plate is more complicated in the smelting process than the 1 series aluminum plate, and the price is higher than the 1 series aluminum plate.
The 5 series aluminum plate is the most commonly used aluminum plate in the automotive industry. The main alloying elements are aluminum and magnesium. Compared with the 3 series aluminum plate, the smelting of the aluminum-magnesium alloy has higher requirements on the equipment and production technology level. At present, only the large-scale aluminum material with strong strength can be produced in China, and the price is naturally higher than that of the 3 series.
