1. China's official manufacturing PMI of 50.2 in October was expected to be 50.6, after a previous reading of 50.8. China's official non-manufacturing PMI was 53.9 at 54.6 in October, down from 54.9 in the prior month. China's official composite PMI was 54.1 in October.
2. According to the National Energy Administration, electricity consumption in the first three quarters of this year increased by 8.9% year-on-year, an increase of 2 percentage points over the same period last year, the highest rate in six years.
3. Eurozone GDP grew 0.2% quarter on quarter in the third quarter, the slowest pace since 2014, and is expected to grow 0.4% compared with 0.4% in the first quarter. The euro area's gross domestic product for the third quarter was 1.7% , compared with an initial estimate of 1.8% and an earlier estimate of 2.1% .
