2. During the heating season from November 15 to March 15 next year, China will reduce its operating capacity of approximately 230,000 tons of electrolytic aluminum, which was reduced by approximately 820,000 tons in the same period last year. In the past six months, most electrolytic aluminum plants in Henan have completed the upgrading of environmental protection equipment and controlled emissions below the standard. In addition, the new policy is more flexible than last year. However, due to the high raw material cost and low aluminum prices, some electrolytic aluminum plants have taken the initiative to reduce production since the beginning of October. Affected by the heating season environmental protection policy, China's electrolytic aluminum production may be reduced by about 80,000 tons.

3. According to data released by the National Customs Administration on Monday, China exported 102,100 tons of alumina to Iceland in October. The country is the largest export destination last month China alumina. In October, China exported a total of 460,072 tons of alumina, the highest level since at least 2014, as producers profited from export when the international market was short. Other alumina export destinations include Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates, with exports of 88,784 tons and 86,951 tons respectively.
