(1) Hongchuang Holdings: Hongchuang Holdings announced on the evening of December 11th that a 150,000-ton high-precision aluminum strip casting and rolling line production project is expected to be completed and put into operation in February 2019. Up to now, the main equipment of the project has been commissioned, and all the production conditions will be completed by the end of December. It is expected that the construction task will be completed two months ahead of schedule. The production project with an annual output of 85,000 tons of high-precision aluminum strip is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in February 2019.
(2) On December 8, the opening ceremony of the Indonesia Bintan alumina construction project was held. The project is the second large-scale alumina project invested by Chinese companies in Indonesia. The total planned investment of the project is US$5.5 billion. The annual production capacity is 2 million tons of alumina and 1 million tons of electrolytic aluminum per year. The first phase will build an alumina production line with an annual output of 1 million tons.
