1. EU said that as part of the U.S. steel and aluminum tariff counterattack, the European Commission approved an additional tariff on US exports of $3 billion 300 million (2 billion 800 million euros). The list of EU customs products includes orange juice, whisky, jeans, motorcycles and all kinds of steel products.
2. Matthew Chamberlain, chief executive of the LME (LME), the world's largest basic metal exchange, said on Tuesday (6) that the exchange was working to determine whether it could temporarily lift the trade ban on Russian and aluminum products.
3. The relationship between Russia and the United States has deteriorated, and the relationship between Russia and the European Union has been increasing in recent years.
